After the Break-up
Let’s face, not everybody was meant to stay together with their partner. Things happen, people make mistakes, people change, differences make you grow apart and now you have decided to move on. The breakup itself is very hard to deal with emotionally and this is expected.
Perhaps you feel rejected, abandoned or betrayed. It is normal to go through a grieving process, after all, you have been with somebody for a certain amount of time and all of a sudden they are no longer in your life. It is as though you have lost someone because you have.
A great way to help get you through this process is to recognize that not all is lost and you will move forward without that person. Remember that there are tons of fish in the sea who are perfect for you. Maybe you thought your ex was the one but your breakup shows otherwise. Once you have spent some good time alone and feel ready, you must get up and get back out into the dating scene. It is true that time helps to heal wounds so as time goes by you will not feel as hurt as you once did and can move on.
